A Man and His Tools

Author Todd Falcone

All in a Day’s Work

I just bought a new piece of property today on the Cowlitz River…one of the best steelheading and salmon fishing rivers in the state.

So…I had to go out and buy myself a chainsaw and a gas weed whacker to get some trees out of my way and make room for my “trailer home.” I never thought I’d have a trailer, but since that’s all I can put on this property, it’ll have to do. This is what you call 5 Star camping.

While I was playing with my new tool (the chainsaw), I got to thinking…the only way for me to cut down my trees is to:

1. Have the right tool, and…
2. Make sure I keep it sharp.

The same thing goes for us in network marketing. You’ve got to use the tools that are available to you. They are there for a reason. So…if your company or upline leadership is providing you useful tools, USE THEM.

And secondly, be sure to keep on sharpening your skills. You can’t cut through a tree with a dull saw. And…you certainly can’t expect to master the game of network marketing if you don’t constantly refine your skills…aka “sharpening your saw.”

Congrats on the new home purchase. Can we come over and eat? I highly agree you have to keep those network marketing tools sharp are you get rusty.

    Make it a great day,
