Creater of Red Bull To Launch Network Marketing Company

The Yoovidhaya family, which created the legendary energy-drink Red Bull, is diversifying into direct sales of food supplements and household products with an ambitious goal to become a global brand within three to five years.

An executive of Nature Max Co, 100% owned by Sakchai Yoovidhaya, the son of Krating Daeng energy drink founder Chaleo, said the company started to distribute food supplements under the Nature Max brand through multi-level direct sales channels in Thailand two weeks ago.

The company is working with a German pharmaceutical manufacturer, R.P. Sherer, a major global player. R.P. Sherer will support production technology for Nature Max’s circure herbal products, which were initiated by Mr Chaleo. The company has already filed a patent for the formula of the food supplement in Germany.

Mr Sakchai is the president of the company, which is scheduled to officially open by the end of this month.

Thailand’s direct-sales market is worth 40 billion to 50 billion baht with Amway (Thailand) as the market leader.

Nature Max will start distributing its food supplements first, followed by skin-care, beauty and household goods just like Amway.

Kim Klaver’s Sales Closing No Nos

This is some great stuff from Ms. Stud, Kim Klaver via the Kim Klaver Blog. Kim is talking about product sales and when to ask for the order:

Three no-nos:

1. Do not, for heaven’s sake, send her to your website now. TAKE THE @&#! ORDER! She can learn about the website ordering process later, AFTER she tries this and sees how she likes it.

2. Don’t offer any other product than the one your story was about, which she just bought. Stop with the sale you just made. (Unless she asks.) Change the subject to something else, then say goodbye and see she gets the product (if you didn’t already get it to her.)

3. Don’t bring up the business (unless she asks.)

Let her know you’ll stay in touch to see how she’s using it and how it’s working for her.

Getting Good At Prospecting

If you want to get good at prospecting, focus on these five key areas:

Preparation Time: The Mental Side
Practice: Make it feel like the palm of your hand
Game Time: Get in there and do it
Working with a Coach or Mentor: Get mentored by a pro
Self-Evaluation: Look in the mirror

These five areas lead to prospecting mastery. Go through each element and work on it daily. Every top athlete and every top networking pro I know has these areas in common, which is what led them to getting to where they are today.
