Web 2.0 and Network Marketing

Web 2.0 and Network MarketingHave you heard the phrase, “the web changes everything”?

The phrase is only partially true in Network Marketing. The web is a great way to brand yourself and create leads for your business, but your business will still be held together with relationships. Don’t get me wrong, I would not discount using the web in every way possible to move a business forward, but remember to place great value on the individual people that you find via the web.

Building a solid relationship based on trust is the key to continued success and long term residual income. At this point, the web can not relay the emotion of looking a person in the eye and telling them you believe in them and it can not replace slapping a friend on the back and sharing a belly laugh.

Bottom line, use the tools and technology available to you (including social media and web 2.0) and back that up with great relationships.

Social Networking Site Second Life and MLM

Author Ty Tribble | 22.05.2007 | Category Internet Marketing, Social Networking

Second Life MLMSecond Life is a 3-D virtual world that currently has over 6.5 million users and over 20,000 new users joining each day. Big companies life IBM, Dell, Apple and Lacoste are putting time and resources into creating a presence on Second Life.

I have read estimates that suggest a 4 to 5 hour learning curve in order to get your bearings in the Second Life world, but after that you have 6 million users that might be open to hearing about your business.

Keep in mind that, like your first life, pitching and presenting your business to someone before you build a relationship is not suggested.

To give you a quick taste of Second Life, I did a quick search for Second Life on Google Video and came across a Second Life Virtual U2 Concert…here is a link.
